The Chinese Martial Arts and Health Centre Durban has been teaching traditional styles of Kung Fu, Tai Chi and Chi Kung since 2000.

Kung-Fu

Effective striking, weaponry, throwing and locking techniques. We focus on the three requirements of traditional Kung fu: Self defence, fitness and nurturing health.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a complex and highly developed art that gives the practitioner a feeling of enjoyment and satisfaction which goes beyond that offered by other forms of exercise.

Kung-Fu Kids

Our exciting Kung Fu kids programme is designed for boys and girls, ages 6-11. We have specialist kids’ instructors who are passionate about equipping children with self-defence training

Chi Kung

Chi Kung is a practice of aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise, healing, and meditation. With roots in Chinese medicine, martial arts and philosophy, Chi Kung is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance chi or what has been translated as “intrinsic life energy”.

Self-Defence

Our Self-defence workshops gives participants an opportunity to learn no nonsense, practical self defence applications in a relatively short time. The programme focuses on unarmed, knife and gun attacks and defences.

Kung-Fu Fitness

Fu Fit combines every aspect of physical training in one jam-packed session, targeting the muscular and cardio-respiratory systems simultaneously for total body stimulation.
